Jenny Saville: The Anatomy of Painting is the UK’s largest major museum exhibition dedicated to one of the world’s foremost contemporary painters. 

Rising to prominence in the early 1990s after her acclaimed degree show at the Glasgow School of Art, Saville has redefined figurative painting with her monumental nudes and visceral portraits. This exhibition traces her career through 45 works — from early charcoal drawings to recent large-scale oil paintings, many on display for the first time. 

The exhibition explores her enduring interest in the human form and questions of female beauty, developed in close collaboration with the artist and drawn from collections worldwide.
