At the heart of Joshua’s Tavern lies our dedication to premium gin. Whether you prefer a traditional London Dry or an adventurous botanical blend, the tavern boasts an impressive collection of 52 gins sourced from around the globe. Our knowledgeable mixologists have also created six Gintonica cocktails, where select gins are paired with bitters, tonics and ingredients to bring out the best of their flavours. Welcome to our London gin bar, a stone’s throw from Covent Garden.

Pub Quiz 2026

The fun continues with Quiz Live, bringing an evening of laughs, trivia, and healthy competition to Joshua’s Tavern. Expect topical, inclusive rounds designed to get everyone involved, whatever your knowledge level.

Cover charge is just £8 per person, with a maximum team size of 6. Prizes range from the sublime to the ridiculous, and there’s even a chance to play for the Golden Question jackpot.

Quiz starts at 7pm sharp, so come early to grab a drink. Pen and paper supplied — just bring your brain, friends, and a thirst!

Did you know?

It’s not just a name… Joshua’s Tavern was inspired by Sir Joshua Reynolds, the 18th century Londoner and portrait artist who once lived here on Leicester Square. Rumour has it he was fond of a good meal and a refreshing libation, which we have done our best to honour at Joshua’s Tavern. The hand painted murals, beautifully imagined by design studio En Viu, depicts scenes of silliness and drunken debauchery – see if you can spot the prolific painter on your next visit…
