Artistic depiction of the city skyline under a gray sky displayed in a stylish space at The Londoner Hotel

Fashion designer, artistic director, and Londoner, Daniel w. Fletcher has made his mark in this city and beyond at an impressive pace. Shortly after launching the Daniel w. Fletcher brand in 2015 he earned widespread recognition and awards, and has been lauded for his commitment to sustainability. In the first of the recurring series Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner, we asked Daniel for the things he loves most about living in the Big Smoke.

The relationship between Daniel w. Fletcher and The Londoner began with a hugely successful spring/summer 2023 runway show, which he held in the hotel’s ballroom during London Fashion Week in September 2022. Later that year, Fletcher designed the hotel’s Christmas centrepiece. Titled ‘A White Christmas’, this ‘tree’ utilised cream moire fabric offcuts from his studio that came from the aforementioned SS23 collection, highlighting both synergy of the collection and a message of sustainability.
